RULES OF TMC Brazuca USA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
1. All students must bow before entering or leaving our Training Area.
2. No student can train without a complete uniform.
3. Never lay your belt on the floor or around your neck.
4. Always bow to all black belts when they enter the Academy and address them as Sensei/Professor.
5. All students have to wear the TEAM Gi/uniforms after the period of TRIAL CLASSES (Do not put personal patches on the Gi).
6. Students must keep all their body parts and uniforms clean of foul odors.
7. Always show a good attitude and honor in class and at tournaments.
8. You Must show respect, with a short bow, to all black belts you speak or meet.
9. When competing, compete to do your best.
10. Show respect to any assistant instructor who may drill the class.
11. You are welcome to bring ideas, but first, follow the class schedule that is prepared by the TMC curriculum management team.
12. No foul language in the Academy.
13. No unnecessary talking or laughing.
14. Wear no jewelry while training.
15. Do not ever bring shame to your ACADEMY or your Team Members from your personal life.
16. Every student is our best advertising; please invite family and friends to train with us.

4. Loyalty – Your Academy/Dojo and Instructor/Sensei are first.
5. Education – Lean wisdom.
6. Self-control – Showing no pain, no anger, and fear.
STANDARDS FOR PROMOTIONS
· Show good ambition and a valid will to succeed.
· Show a good attitude in class and out of class.
· Every student is encouraged to compete in at least one Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition.
· Show good interest in training sessions.
· Show good attendance. Missing more than 30% of monthly classes will slow your learning progress and promotion.
· Working out on extra days with fellow students shows an excellent willingness to learn and is encouraged.
· Pay fees on time. The Monthly Fee is due on the 5th of each month.
. Regular fees and fees for belt promotion must be paid before the promotion test.
· Your instructor will monitor your progress closely and will inform you of the expected dates for your next test.
· Promotion should not be your goal. Mastering your skills should be your goal, with promotion merely publicly recognizing your skill level.
